Whose Side Are The UK Unions On?

The Great Union Conspiracy

The UK loses, the workers lose, the only winners are the unions.

Once upon a time, the UK was a thriving centre for manufacturing excellence.
Today we have been overtaken by countries that used to look up to us.
So what went wrong?

I Told Them Not To Print Too Many - Waste Of Beer Money

British Leyland was a car manufacturer, profitable until the Communist backed unions told the work force how to improve their earnings and power.
The workers listened and British Leyland is history.
Tilbury was a thriving container port, when containers were just beginning.
They could have been the centre of the European container traffic, that position is now held by Amsterdam in Holland.
Their problem?
The unions were strong, no powerful and they abused that power.
One-man one job they insisted.
I know of one worker, who would clock in at 7am and go home, with full pay.
Why?
He was a ‘heavy lift’ crane driver and there were no ‘heavy lifts’ that day.
Common sense would suggest he works on a ‘light lift’ crane.
The unions said no.
One man, one job.
The management were forced to employ another man, or many men, for light lift while the heavy lift guys did FA!
Ford Motor Company was the lifeblood of the same corner of Essex and the restrictive practices and NON-profit motive of the unions sent them packing.
British workers led like lambs to the slaughter, yet again.
But some were successful, they are called Union Leaders, whose one aim in life is to cause unrest between unions and management.
A contented work force means they are out of a job.
They HAVE to cause unrest, in the guise of doing what’s best for their members.
Britains miners followed the arch troublemaker, ‘Red Arfur’ Scargill, and he led them straight into the demise of Britains Coal Industry.

Unions will tell you the ‘bosses’and Mrs Thatcher killed the coal mines.
What they actually wanted to do, was try to make them profitable, so the coal industry could flourish and contribute to the country’s prosperity and the work force along with it.
Now there is bugger all, cheap imports from the eastern bloc put the final nail in the coffin and coal pits were consigned to the rubbish pits by the pits who are the unions.
Even the Labour Party has to fight their union paymasters, but only when they are in power.
To listen to Ed Bollocks, Labour is the party for the unions.
Labour Prime Minister Jim Callaghan was consigned to the list of ex-Prime Ministers, led there by the unions and their winter of discontent.
The unions brought down a government they were paying for.
Work that one out.
‘Flash Gordon’ Brown had a union fight on his hands, the only thing that saved him from being in Cameron’s shoes now, was losing the General Election.

Don’t kid yourselves, every government today is having to make cuts to ensure that countries survive this world recession.
Want a dictator imposed on you by the bankers, as has happened in Greece and Italy, just carry on following the bloody unions to your own funerals.
Ask the millions trying to find work to sympathise with you, the Public Sector workers, who are going on strike for a better pension deal.
Pension? A week’s wage is a result today.
There are millions who would take on your jobs willingly and for the pension you are throwing away!
These same unions who scream today about workforce cuts by this government, would have been rubbing their hands with glee as Flash Gordon Brown took people off the dole and created unrealistic jobs for them.
The union’s czars saw the unrest they would profit from as a future Conservative government tried to bring the Public sector back to sensible numbers.

Time To Pull Together Not Apart

We are in a world recession and those Public Sector workers, instead of being grateful to have jobs in this World Wide recession, are holding the country to ransom over their bloody pensions.
We should all be pulling together, doing everything in our power, to bring prosperity to the UK.
That way, the dole queues will be shortened and the young will be given opportunities they don’t see coming at the moment.
Oh yes, the young.
Labour have conveniently short memories, as do their Union bosses.
There was a time, not so long ago, when the young were given a great opportunity when they left school.
Until you were 21, you didn’t earn a full salary, you were paid a ‘trainee’ rate, which increased year by year.
The bosses had an incentive to take on cheap labour, train them in work skills, until they were fully contributing to the company’s profits, and why not?
But at that the Unions screamed exploitation, Labour screamed unfairly using school leavers for cheap labour.
And the unions got their way and school leavers have been consigned into the wastes of the unemployed ever since.
Employers have no incentive to employ the young, who they have to train and who cost them the same as a fully skilled worker.
And talking about training, I seem to remember that it’s Public Sector workers who are responsible for teaching our children and preparing them for the working world.
May I respectfully remind these teachers that a good benchmark of their success will be, when children start to leave school able to read, write and add up!
At the moment, their success rate is crap.
